How We Handle Your Information

This policy explains what personal information Sai Overseas Educational Services collects through
this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 26 August 2026

Sai Overseas Educational Services ("Sai Overseas", "we", "us" or "our") operates the website www.saioverseasglobal.com. We are an education and immigration consultancy based in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

By using this website or submitting an enquiry, application or document through it, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information to us.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to enter in our enquiry, contact, counselling, career and application forms. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Contact details – your full name, email address, mobile number, alternate phone number and city.
  • Personal details – date of birth and the study destination or service you are interested in.
  • Academic details – Class 10, Class 12, graduation and other qualification details such as year of passing, board or university and percentage/CGPA, along with IELTS, PTE or other English test information.
  • Documents you upload – marksheets, passport copies, test scorecards, resumes/CVs for job applications, and any other file you attach to a form.
  • Your message – the query, comments or reference details you write to us, and how you heard about us.

Please share only the documents that are actually needed for your enquiry. Do not send us banking passwords, OTPs or any payment credentials – we never ask for them.

b) Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view and the time spent on them. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry and contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp about the service you asked about.
  • To provide counselling on courses, universities, colleges and study destinations that suit your profile.
  • To help you prepare and submit admission applications to educational institutions, and to prepare your own visa application documentation.
  • To assess job applications you send to us through the careers form.
  • To send you updates about intakes, admission deadlines, scholarships, events and our services, where you have asked for or agreed to receive them.
  • To maintain our internal enquiry records, and to improve our website and services.
  • To meet any legal, audit or regulatory obligation that applies to us.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.

3. When We Share Your Information

We share your information only where it is needed to deliver the service you have asked for, and only to the extent required:

  • Universities, colleges and institutions – where you have asked us to apply on your behalf or to obtain an offer letter, we share the application details and documents you provided. Institutions abroad process this data under the laws of their own country.
  • Authorised representatives and partner offices of those institutions who handle admissions for our region.
  • Service providers who support our operations – for example our web hosting provider and email service – who process the data strictly on our instructions.
  • Government authorities, embassies, high commissions or visa application centres, where you have asked us to assist with a submission or where disclosure is required by law.
  • Legal reasons – if we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

Because studying abroad involves institutions outside India, submitting an application means your information may be transferred to and stored in the destination country. We share it only with the institutions and authorities relevant to your application.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work correctly, while others help us understand how visitors use our pages.

  • Google Analytics is used to measure page visits and traffic sources. It sets cookies that collect information such as your approximate location, device and browsing activity on our site. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
  • Google Ads may be used to measure the performance of our advertisements and to show our ads to people who have visited this site.
  • Google Maps is embedded on some pages to show our office location, and loads content directly from Google.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave.

5. WhatsApp and Phone Contact

Our website provides click-to-call and WhatsApp links. If you contact us through WhatsApp, your message and phone number are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. When you submit an enquiry form, you agree that our counsellors may call, message or email you about your enquiry, including on a number registered under DND, for as long as your enquiry is active.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep enquiry and application records for as long as needed to provide the service and to maintain our business records – usually for the duration of your application process and a reasonable period afterwards, since students often return to us for a later intake or a re-application. Documents that are no longer required are deleted from our systems. Where a longer retention period is required by law, we retain the record for that period.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) transmission of data submitted through this website and restricted access to our enquiry records. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information with us at your own discretion.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information about you we hold, and obtain a summary of it;
  • correct or update information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
  • delete information we no longer need for the purpose you gave it to us;
  • withdraw the consent you gave us – note that if you withdraw consent while an application is in progress, we may not be able to continue processing it;
  • stop sending you promotional messages, while you still receive messages related to an active enquiry.

To make any of these requests, write to us using the contact details in section 12. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.

9. Children's Information

Our services are intended for students who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18, please use this website and submit information only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected a child's information without that consent, we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

This website contains links to university websites, government and embassy pages, social media profiles and other external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any website before sharing information with it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or the law. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Please review this page periodically.
